Medieval texts, mostly from Spain, date mainly from the fifteenth century; although some of the manuscripts were transcribed at a later date, the works they contain were produced before 1501. Poetic works appear most frequently, followed by works of the Kings of Castile. The 183 manuscripts contain 780 texts.
